  21. Title:                BAKER STREET        (Gerry Rafferty)
  22.         A
  23.         Winding your way down on Baker Street
  24.
  25.         Lite in your head, and dead on your feet
  26.               Em                    G
  27.         Well another crazy day, you drink the night away
  28.                D
  29.         And forget about everything
  30.
  31.         A
  32.         This city desert makes you feel so cold, its got
  33.
  34.         So many people but its got no soul
  35.                 Em                   G
  36.         And its taken you so long to find out you were wrong
  37.                  D
  38.         When you thought it held everything.
  39.
  40.         Dm7                           Am7
  41.         You used to think that it was so easy
  42.         Dm7                         Am7
  43.         You used to say that it was so easy
  44.             C             G            D
  45.         But you're tryin, you're tryin now
  46.         Dm7                         Am7
  47.         Another year and then you'd be happy
  48.         Dm7                               Am7
  49.         Just one more year and then you'd be happy
  50.             C              G            A
  51.         But you're cryin', you're cryin now
  52.
  53.         A
  54.         Way down the street there's a light in his place
  55.
  56.         You open the door, he's got that look on his face
  57.                Em                              G
  58.         And he asks you where youv'e been, you tell him who you've seen
  59.                 D
  60.         And you talk about anything
  61.
  62.         A
  63.         He's got this dream about buyin' some land
  64.
  65.         He's gonna give up the booze and the one night stands
  66.             Em                             G
  67.         And then he'll settle down, it's a quiet little town
  68.                D
  69.         And forget about everything
  70.
  71.         Dm7                       Am7
  72.         But you know he'll always keep moving
  73.         Dm7                       Am7
  74.         You know he's never gonna stop moving
  75.               C            G                D
  76.         Cause he's rollin, He's the rolling stone
  77.         Dm7                         Am7
  78.         And when you wake up it's a new morning
  79.         Dm7                       Am7
  80.         The sun is shining it's a new morning
  81.             C             G            A
  82.         And you're going, you're going home

  108. This is a great solo that took me about half and hour to workout, and two hours to tab.
  109. It's fuelled by bends, some of which are release bends, so watch out for them.
  110. Put plenty of distortion on your amp, and set your guitar to treble position.
  111. The solo has a couple of tricky runs which take a little practice, so just hang in there.
  112. Enjoy.
